Once you have returned your goods, it is up to the merchant to determine if the goods were returned according to their returns and refunds policy. When the merchant accepts the return they will process a refund. This process can take time, particularly if you are returning online goods through the post.
Genoapay can only process a refund when the merchant has approved the return. If there is a dispute over the return, then this is something that you and the merchant will work through.
That means your weekly instalments will continue until we get a refund approval from the merchant.
